Each summer we select twelve of the best and brightest college students for the Washington Program. They arrive in June for eight demanding and rewarding weeks, including paid internships, meetings with public and private sector leaders, and activities throughout Washington D.C.

Internships

High-level internships

Scholars intern in their field of interest - whether on Capitol Hill, at a financial firm, legal office, nonprofit, or professional sports team.

Academics

Academic seminars

Scholars participate in ethics, economics, and constitutional principles seminars during their two summers as Institute Scholars. Seminars are led by leading scholars in their field.

Activities

Private events with their cohort

Every summer scholars meet privately with leaders throughout Washington D.C. and have a chance to hear from and ask questions to CEOs, members of Congress, cabinet officials, doctors, lawyers, business leaders. Scholars may also enjoy private museum tours, golf lessons, and more during their summer.
